'Going Greener, Getting Climate Ready' workshop

Join us for a workshop on actions for voluntary and community groups to address sustainability and climate change, led by De Montfort University and hosted at Voluntary Action Leicestershire.

This event will feature talks on successful local projects along with workshops on climate action basics for your group and engaging your community in sustainability, led by GreenerFuture Leicestershire.

9.30 registration, for 10am start

• A workshop on the ABC of actions for voluntary and community sector organisations to address sustainability and climate change. Led by Andrew Reeves (De Montfort University) and Voluntary Action LeicesterShire
• Networking lunch
• Short talks of successful projects led by local groups
• Parallel workshops: First steps on climate for your organisation (led by Greener Future Leicestershire); engaging your community on sustainability (led by Caroline Harmon)
• Discussion session: towards a local support network
