LAEP Lens Visualisation Tool
The LAEP Lens visualisation tool enables users to interactively explore the Leicester and Leicestershire LAEP data and potential interventions and opportunities. It is built in the Arc GIS Online platform and is freely available via the link below. Users are required to accept an End User Licence Agreement before being granted access.
Note: The LAEP Lens visualisation tool is optimised for use on laptops and large screens. While the tool will open on mobile devices, the user experience is not optimal. The data in the tool is fixed as of 30th November 2025 and does not update.
With LAEP Lens you can:
- View priority project opportunities across the region.
- Explore the variety of recommended opportunities in your local area through data layers.
- Get a sense of scale of installations and costs in the summary overviews.
- Combine the LAEP recommendations with other data layers to identify opportunities relevant to your own interests.
- Export data or take screenshots for creating reports and discussion points with partners and investors.
